BTW...forgot to mention, I think Marty makes an excellent point when he wrote in his post:

"Looking at pictures that are accepted is a good way to see what they are about. This rejection has taught about lighting and interesting subjects."

I agree and that's another reason why I seldom submit. I found I had to post those photos that fit a screener's vision and not the story I wanted my photography to tell. My world doesn't have a lot of bright sunshine or intense contrast,...quite the opposite...,but it does have story telling/mood setting midtones and textures, style of black and white Railpics screeners don't understand. I'll display the photos I want people to see, not what some unknown screener whose cred is questionable thinks is fit for others to see....
