If you want (key word - "want") to have photos accepted to RP, it's not that difficult. There are thousands upon thousands of examples that meet their criteria, the vast majority of which get a fairly small number of views.

Once you get the hang of getting shots accepted, you can start experimenting, breaking their rules a little here and there. In other words get creative. There are way less examples of creative stuff (maybe because it's harder to do?), but they tend to get way more views.

If you don't like being "judged", don't submit your photos to RP. Don't submit them to magazines either, they have their own ideas of publication worthy images.

As someone else said, shoot for yourself first, but if you want to see it on RP, you have to play by their rules. Or start your own site!
