Martin said it all, “I found I had to post those photos that fit a screener's vision and not the story I wanted my photography to tell.”

Shoot for yourself. Not for anyone else. Focus on what appeals to your eye. Look at the images of others, critique it, decide what you like and what you don’t; use these influences to develop your own style. Be different. Don’t conform to the mold of others. Drive to stand out from the crowd.
