I'm not completely familiar with the exact layout and who the current customers are, but about 5-6 years ago I rode along with the OTR crew as they crossed the trestle in question to spot some covered hoppers and bulkhead flats loaded with plate steel, how can they access these customers without the trestle ? Seems as though their trackage may be split without this trestle. Dave B, let us know !
