Industrial Railways a 40 year old Track construction and repair company and its other Company Industrial Transloading is the Owner of WOPR, IRC alos does some switching at the Port of Stockton for the port on rough and ready Island. IRC began operations switching the former OTR customers on June 4, 2012 after the BNSf and UP the Owners of the OTR made a decision to shut down the OTR on June 1, 2012 due to decline in traffic. Any BNSF cars for the Customers on the west side of the trestle will now go to UP Oakland and then begiven to IRC to spot to customers.

IRC has a trackmobile and will use it to switch both sides and will move via rubber tire from one side to the other with the trackmobile going over the west Grand Ave overpass to the wood street side

The Trestle was taken out of service on June 1, 2012 and track removed from service and Red flags placed at either end. The fate of the Trestle awaits possible redevelopment and new track constuction by the Port of Oakland and the City of Oakland if and when they redevelop the old Oakland Army base and area along Maritime Ave.
