This is not a matter of job dissatisfaction. Every class 1 railroader is subject to these unsafe conditions.

You'll think it is just a matter of people disliking their jobs right up until a crew is pushed to far and falls asleep and then piles of a train of Anhydrous Ammonia or Chlorine in your back yard. Try yelling that they should have quit their jobs as you suficate to death.

I was once pulled from service with threats of being fired for saying I was to tired to safely stay awake of 12 hours. I had slept all day looking at a lineup that said I would go to work at 9 pm. Come 9pm I wasn't showing to go to work until 7 am. You try to sleep all day and then get rested for a train that won't leave for another 10 hours.
