Not just "twenty-something reporters, but also middle-aged political commentators. In an anti-transit rant, Rush Limbaugh described the Minneapolis Hiawatha light rail cars as being red.

It's in the Business & Technology Section. Perhaps the mistake is typical of that department of the newspaper. Does the Seattle Times have a transportation writer? I bet he or she wouldn't make that kind of error.

Check out the articles written by the transportation reporters for the Chicago Tribune, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Toledo Blade. They are all very knowledgeable about transportation.
