Its not that we don't like trains mind you, its that everyday we hear that there's no more money for anything and we need more taxes. Here in san francisco where I live muni is building a subway for 2 billion dollars. Everyday I hear muni is broke and It needs more money to operate. Well By building this subway you're adding on to a system that can't afford what it has now. But thats ok parking ticket prices are going up and money will be coming from the Government which has lots of money. So if eveything was even I say buy the high speed rail and everything else that you love but I will say this come november if you think I'm going to vote for tax increases Well forget about it because anyone can see we have lots of money already.
