I used to chase and photograph the NWP and later EUKA out of Willits and frequently would take my kids along for the day.

Made it a habit to allow enough time for them to spend some time in the City Park on E. Commercial St. There was a great slide there and they enjoyed it yours years while dad watched. One day though, it was gone and I walked over to a city worker and asked why? "The liability issue" he said sadly, shaking his head.
