As far as I know, they are still sitting in UP's Albina yard. No reports of them having moved anywhere else.

St. Maries River apparently does have a plan to use the cars, and as such I'd expect them to continue on north and east once the flat spot(s) have been repaired.

I too would like to know more specifics...
