I spent several days trying to track these cars just getting out of McCloud (Mt Shasta) with the help of those involved in this move and I too kind of dropped out after the cars were bad ordered in Albina along the way to St Maries. Since then I have not even asked about them, so I too would be very much interested if anyone has an update as to where they are, when they are expected to be repaired and the route they will take to get to St Maries. It was pointed out to me that the original routing was through Hinkle, and apparently they could have been routed on the train through Spokane to Eastport, thus avoiding the Hinkle yard delay.....But that is moot now and I am curious when these cars will finally move again. Thanks for anyone with any inside knowledge on this.
