The Albuquerque station is in the midst of a highly-developed downtown area. There might be room for a loop at the old locomotive shop area south of the station, but I think that scenario would be unlikely. More plausible would be to have ABQ-bound passengers detrain at Belen and transfer to Thruway busses, or perhaps connect with a Railrunner commuter train (which would also provide direct transportation to Santa Fe). Not that I'm advocating a reroute, but things look rather grim.
