These might spur some more memories.

Van DeKamps in Glendale. There wasn't actually a view, but you couldn't get much closer to Taylor Yard. Then down at the other end of the yard was the Lawry's.

Philippes of course - LAUPT

Zonos in Fullerton, a classic Greek hamburger joint with a view of the 3rd District at Lemon Ave.

Daggett Cafe, now gone. The seats were ripped, and the paint was peeling, but the food was better than edible.

Needles, don't know the name of the Chinese joint that used to be a Dennys, great view of the Santa Fe.

And don't forget the store in Devore.
