While the engineering drawings and specifications for a 1950 era Pullman-Standard passenger car may exist in some archive the machinery to manufacture one does not. Lightweight cars of the 40s and 50s required specialized shotwelding jigs to hold the pieces in precise alignment. When Pullman (and Budd et al) exited the business this equipment was all scrapped. Now even spare parts have often to be handmade. A shame but true. At least this order means jobs for American workers.
