PLA tried to take the 2467 to Oakdale for a rail festival. On the way, the #1 axle was scored by a bad bearing. The engine was taken to Hunter's Point and joined 2472 and the two operated together on the Navy base track on two occassions regardless of the axle. When the GGRM had to vacate, 2472 went to Niles Canyon and 2467 was taken to the museum in Sacramento and leased to them for display. This provided indoor and secure storage. I believe the lease with the CSRM runs for 20 years.

I hope this is correct but anyone with better info, please chime in.
