As far as the freight traffic being diverted away from this route, well, you can forget it, it is just the opposite. UP, starting last month and this month, have diverted traffic to the new Global 4 Intermodal Facility from Yard Center, so we have 3 new symbols operating here. The ZG4HO, daily out of Global 4, the ZMQG4 5 days aweek, and the IHOG4 that runs on an as needed basis, both to Global 4. Studying is going on to permanently re-route the MASPR and MPRPB on this line with work each day at Bloomington. All this is just the begining! Since UP spent quite a bit of their own money on this line, you had better believe they are going to use it.
