Thread's pro'll'y dead by now...

What gets me about I-84 is how QUICKLY the conditions can change. Up on top, by Meacham, you can go from bare'n'wet to solid black ice in a matter of a minute or two... less than a mile even... similar elevations. ODOT spraying de-icer all over the road doesn't help, either (the stuff is great down to about 25F... then it freezes too).

Be CAREFUL and go SLOW. TRUST me, I know. Been there, done that, many times, still got completely sideways once.
