Instead of posting more back-peddling drivel, why not tell us precisely what work Iowa Pacific has done to the branch? Spreading some ballast or re-gauging four miles of track doesn't count when there is a trestle for ever mile over a 32-mile branch, a third of which is under mud, another third of which suffers from impending washouts and the other third subject to downed trees and flooding.

Also, being pessimistic, or even negative has zero to do with someone's political or social ideology, much less their assertion of facts and whether or not those facts hold up under scrutiny and evidence. Pessimism is an emotional response to something that is dismal over an extended period of time. Progressivism, socialism, fascism, communism, capitalism, feudalism, etc are ideological states of mind that comes from ideas about how to better manage our society and its resources.
Not the same thing, and it exposes you as the fool you are when you attempt to quantify someone else's socio-political ideology and equate it with an emotional state.
