The quarry above Niles Canyon is owned by Ferma corporation.( Unless it has changed hands recently ) They are a demolition contractor with a great safety record. I had worked for them for eighteen years. The quarry was used more as equipment storage yard and recycled rock, and concrete stockpile area than working quarry. Ferma's trucks are well kept newer models. The union drivers are the best in the business. If this was a Ferma truck that was involved in this accident it's an unfortunate an rare blemish on there safety record. I know they will try to make good on anything damaged.
