Timely comment. Two ex UP tunnel motors usually run as a pair at an unremarked location in Eastern Washington. This would be shortline, Eastern Washington Gateway, between Cheney and Coulee City. Pulling loaded grain trains over a roller coaster profile, they get plenty of run 8 time as well as full power dynamic braking. Here is a picture of the pair Friday, 4/5/2013, at Almira, WA.

2891 was built as DRGW 5362 and 8702 was built as SSW 8375. They are awesome pullers and also have excellent extended range dynamic brakes. I brought 41 loads into Cheney with this pair, and we had plenty of full dynamic braking mileage. They really sing to you when in dynamics.
