By the way - as with all publications of this type, there are some typos & hiccups in #19. Amazingly few, given the subject matter and the vintage, and very few actual updates would probably be needed to bring it up to date (railroads apparently don't change much in CA, with a couple of notable exceptions).
One hiccup in an area I'm familar with is the Placerville Lead - shown as going more than a mile farther than it does. Ever since light rail was extended from Sunrise into Folsom (opened in 2004; construction took a couple of years), the Lead was cut back to MP 13.0 (east end of Hazel light rail station). And if the "Citrus" spur mentioned in the TT is the one that used to cross Folsom Blvd. just east of Sunrise, that's gone too as part of the LR construction. So technically that should have been reflected in the TT. But it probably wasn't reflected in UP source documents and you can't field-inspect everything (though that might be an interesting project...).
Cheers, and get the CA timetable.
