Most of what people can see of railroads are pictures and videos taken by railfans. If the railfans get bored of trains because all the engines are GEVOs, the railroads lose valuable publicity. Also EMDs sound better and look better and don't catch fire. It seems like a waist that UP retired all the tunnel motors and bought more GEVOs. And BNSF uses there SD40s for yard and locals. They also replaced theres with GEVOs on the main. There keeping all the interesting engines in the yard is going to hurt there publicity. Also on UP when I see a lash up that has both EMDs and GEs in it the GEVO is almost always leading, even if a rare paint scheme EMD is trailing. Everytime a heritage SD70ACe is in my area there's always a stupid GEVO in front of it. They just don't care. SMH
