There was at least one deck saved. It is one of the F-1's that went to the T&NO and ended up on display. It is now at the Illinois Railroad Museum.

I agree with Tom concerning Dunsmuir. However, often locomotives that were put on "display" did not relate to what should have been placed in a specific location.

As for the 2353 - it was not simply a freight locomotive. Originally it handled passenger traffic. In fact, the 2352 was used on a commute train (number 108) in July, 1956.
