County Exec Ron Sims had nothing to do with it..
ST and the City of Tukwila got into a fight and Tukwila wasn't even going to let ST come into town. Period!!

Sea-Tac Airport... Especially after 9/11 activities, there was absolutely NO WAY that the Port of Seattle was going to allow a TRAIN to have access to the airport proper.

Times change. And both entities made peace and told ST to proceed. That is why the delays.
