Sometimes it looks like the Puget Sound area has a deep hatred of any transportation except the holy automobile and freeways. It could be many years, if ever, before they get the idea that there are better, cheaper, greener, and more convenient ways to move people, especially when you don't have a lot of vaacant space to fool around with. Look at the east side line I405 comedy, the light rail mess in general, and now this idea of having the connection at SeaTac over 300 meters from the airport terminal? Don't these people understand that if you want a world class city, you need, no must have, viable transport for people? Is it so damned difficult to figure out that every dollar invested in non-highway transportation projects for freight and passengers will return many times over? Sometimes I think that our "leaders" can't get out of the 1950's more pavement mentality.
