That was an excellent article Engineer Borrego wrote! So sorry to hear of his passing, and just how ironic it was to have happened just after he had attended to his friends memorial site. I remember when I first heard of that wreck, and how my stomach felt with the news. Any railroad mishap with loss of life hits all of us rails hard... no matter what railroad property is involved. We are all brothers and sisters in the railroad industry, and any injuries or deaths in our railroad 'family' causes us to think about them ... and our own families. I'd be sure that his article would be read at his funeral; he said it so well!
