Narrow Banding- 100 million waste

Too bad all the railroads didn't hire a lobbyist for a million or two and get an FCC exemption from narrow banding the tiny segment (1.5 MHz) the railroads use
Think of everything that transmits and receives the railroads use,
That's about 100 million in new expensive equipment,
and the taxpayer supported commuter and intercity trains could have better spent that money on rebuilt equipment instead of radios that don't work very well! (worse if they are forced to go digital)
