Third one - the Turquoise Room in the restored Harvey House at Winslow AZ, there are only a few tables next to the window (for the view across the platform to the tracks)but they will reserve one on request. Not cheap this place but the quality of food, service and atmosphere make it a must if you're down that way. Lots of Mary Coulter/Fred Harvey history here. The rooms were fantastic, although only two overlook the tracks.
Forth one - the old GN train house, Essex, Montana (Larry's place). Just a great place to visit and a centre for visting Glacier NP. Several rooms overlook the tracks as does the patio, cabooses available as rooms. Again only a few seats in the dining room overlook the tracks but they do their best to accomadate your requests. A few years since we were last here but we remember the food as being good. Harold.
