Cafe Trinity in Sandpoint, ID. Bit pricey, but great food, tables on back patio deck look right across Sand Creek at BNSF/MRL on the funnel, nice photo angle. Gatto's pizza in Cheney, WA. Window booths looking right out at BNSF Lakeside Sub and UP Ayer Sub. Power for Coulee City line occasionally ties up right there too. Frank's Diner in Spokane, WA. One of those old passenger car diners, right next to Sunset Junction and in sight of Latah Junction, meaning the convergence (or divergence) of three BNSF main lines right there. (UP's Spokane-Hinkle trains have trackage rights.) Get a seat at the west end of the diner for best view.
