If you feel strongly about it - that it is bad for your employment, bad for RR's, etc, write your legislator. If working people and employers don't understand their way of life is really in the crosshairs of those ultimately seeking reduced industrial commerce, material wealth, population - the legislators might just think its no big deal to crimp our economic future. Four dollar coffee becomes 4.50, big deal huh.
You can't say the railroads don't depend upon a flexible, btu-available economy. Carbon is life - to a railroad as much as anybody.
