Just for the sake of clarity, Santa Fe's PA/PB's were delivered in A-B-A and A-B sets, thusly: 51LAB thru 62LAB and 70LA thru 73LA. Units with B suffixes (which were cab units, not boosters), were renumbered 63L thru 69L and 74L thru 78L, explaining why they're not in sequencial date on later rosters.
The FM Erie-built A-B-A set was 90LAB, and was never renumbered. The 90B was the only known
unit to actually display the "B" suffix in its number boards.
And last but not least, Santa Fe's FTs were not drawbar connected, but had shank couplers between the units.
