The sugar subsidy? (4-6 years of funding this year alone, not counting prices paid by consumers for the forced use of ethanol and the government imposed (socialist?) mandatory domestic sugar price, which both gouge 350 million US consumers out of 10's of billions more each year for no demonstrable economic or environmental benefit)

The 2nd Iraq War? (1000-2000 years of funding for Amtrak)

The F-35 fighter in the age of high performance drones? (350 years of funding for Amtrak)

The are also purportedly about 100 "Amtrak" years worth of excess battle tanks, ordered by Congress, but not by the Army, now in permanent storage.

Bob is right as usual, often trying to do too much, for too many, too often for some pretty small special privileged interests (as opposed to say the "public" interest), and often not very well, at all.
