Why restrictions on who can ride HSR? Who cares about Metrolink traffic anyway?
People of the state pay for the new railroad and if they choose to ride between LA and Palmdale, that's fine. Let the payers get to use the new railroad.
Fieldworkers will be able to ride from LA to the valley stops. Another plus for the new line.
