No one says if the GE's will be reliable or not. Based on the over the road diesels with EGR systems, it is unlikely. All a big waste of time. If the EPA was really concerned about emissions, the government would find a way to get more long haul trucks off the roads and onto rail, that will have a greater impact on clean air than all the emissions crap in the world will do. According to the EPA's own statistics, a 18% reduction in long haul trucking would double the ecological benefit than what will be gained by these emissions.
