Too many behavioral advisers are promoting many spurious "rights" these days, and it no doubt influences young people (and not-so-young too) to believe it's their "right" to kill themselves. One may argue that's true, but to claim it's thus also my right to kill myself if I want to by methods that cast disastrous results for others, is definitely NOT a truly humane approach agreed upon by our society. And it always traumatizes more than just the train crew and others you and I have named. What about their families and friends? It's why we have grief counselors working in schools, for example, to help those schoolmates affected by the suicidal deaths of their their peers.
