I too will be going to Portland this summer, in June. One of the things I would like to do is hang out on the pedestrian walkway on steel bridge, and get some videos of trains passing through. Is it ok to be on the bridge for a while, or will that arouse suspicion? Also, what happens to the walkway when the bridge opens? Is there enough space to just stay on the walkway and ride it up and down as it opens and closes (sounds kind of fun lol), or would I have to clear of the walkway when the bridge opens?
