Same old story, hiding behind some ridiculous handle! No guts. Anyway, Chairman Allan Hemphill, operated his own passengers cars across the county on dozens of railroads as the Cheteau St. Jean Cars and knows railroad operations from the ground up! Bob Simonson, was an NWP engineer from the end of stean until his retirement in 1989. I think, He might know something about railroads, too. What is is your railroad backround? Better do your homework before making statements like that. So your comments are unfounded. I am a brakeman on the Niles Canyon Railway and one of my clients is the Union Pacific Railroad. I may know something about railroad, too. NWP will replace the trucks now hauling feed, grain and other agricultural products now trucked into Marin and Sonoma County. Same for all of the gravel, sand , rock and aggregate which historically moved on the railroad. They will got back to the railroad because of lower costs taking those trucks off 101. Again, WRONG ANSWER. Your answers and positions are not defensible. If the train runs are you going to protest by throwing yourself in front of it?
