On the Oregon Trunk the MPs start at the north end near Wishram with MP 0 (zero). The subdivision goes all the way to Chemult, OR and the mile posts start over again leaving Bend, OR, so they put a Z after the MP numbers. 1 Z, 2 Z, etc.
