There is nothing wrong with the pilots on the other cab cars, and the actual cause of the catastrophic "derailment" now appears to have nothing whatsoever to do with the debris from the trailer.....? Thus, there is not an immediate need to put a locomotive on each end due to a "design flaw" in those cab cars, or there pilots.

It might help to go back and look at those pictures of the front end of the wrecked Rotem car, and un-wrecked Rotem car, and the pilots (and possibly drawbar assemblies) on those other cab cars.

I've been in Topock eating BBQ and watching BNSF trains for signs of the collapsing economy this weekend, but should know more tomorrow.
