Good info Erik H.!
Besides railfanning, I'm sort of an old highway buff too, and would like to note although the US30 'through' route in PDX is unsigned & realigned, the US30 BYPASS from I205 to Linnton, via St. Johns and the St. Johns Bridge is still has signage. I'll bet that some of the segments of US30 in Idaho & Wyoming are no longer listed, even though the signs remain.
