At the price of scrap metal, can you blame them!
Two regionals come to mind that were both five year wonders. The IMRL purchased the south end of the CP in the states,ie corn lines, Kansas City lines. Within five years sold to ICE at a profit. Then five years later DME sells entire propertie,DME/ICE to CPR at an unbelievible price.
