There are numerous comprehensive reports on a dozen news outlets I've looked at, it is widely reported that a rock fall on ROW was the apparent cause, 2 cars went down embankment out of five cars train, and only six folks taken to hospital....
So, what does this all mean to Fox? And, what makes you think that Fox would somehow represent the vast spectrum of views held by the millions of folks who might make up this undefined, but, so-called "middle" America, as opposed to maybe only, the views of the owners, the management, the editors of Fox, those of their target advertising demographic, or their advertisers?
This sounds like it turned out better than some of the derailments I've been to, most folks appear to have been able to walk away with no injuries. I hope the remainder were minor injuries, as there was nothing said about severe trauma. In about a year, we'll get a nice NTSB report, and they will likely take a look at if they had, or might need slide detection, and/or other factors.
