I am from the right side of the political aisle, but I stopped watching Fox News years ago. It represents a certain point of view that I find makes little sense ("invade the world, invite the world, in hock to the world"). I have no doubt that if Roger Ailes thought the MSNBC point of view was a bigger money maker, he'd move Fox News over to that side.

That said, it pains me that so many so-called conservative pundits seem to enjoy picking on Amtrak. Amtrak is $1.5 BN of the federal budget; in a budget of nearly $4 TN that kind of money is so tiny as to be a rounding error. Conservatives succeed only in looking like small minded dolts who don't understand simple concepts like ratios and percentages by picking on Amtrak.

Every other form of transportation is subsidized to some extent. Conservatives should let Amtrak have its place at the table and quit @#$%& about it.
