Indeed. I've subscribed to Military.com's newsletters for several years and I see the same sort of comments posted in response to the articles there; far too many of the responses I've seen there do not sound at all like the sort of things that any of my fellow veterans whom I've known would ever say (and a lot of them served well before I was born). I no longer pay any attention to what the "peanut gallery" has to say (there or anywhere else that has comment boards) and will usually just ignore the comments completely.
