Finally, it's only a total of more than three years behind the schedule, it would have had, if it had been chosen as a stimulus project, or if the cost overruns on the 91/215 and 91 projects hadn't sucked up so much in local funds, or been delayed from the 16% fall in sales taxes in Riverside County for the first three years after the 2008 crash. So this wasn't built as fast as it could have been.
It is long overdue, as the 215 is now a complete parking lot on weekdays.
Weekend service would be a great shot in the arm for the local economy, and for OERM, as a weekend destination. It would make an excellent trip for 3751, if there is a way to turn it....?
On to Temecula, ASAP! Bring back the California Southern!
