Re: SMART (or NWP) to Cloverdale...
nwprr.net has the circa 1970 SPINS booklet for the NWP. The spur south of Grant Ave. in Healdsburg with the car on it is Track 502, Harris Pine Mills. Harris Pine Mills was founded by a very religious 7th Day Adventist. Headquartered in Oregon. Bankrupt 1986. Made unfinished furniture. Gifted to the church by the founder in 50's. Healdsburg plant employed students from Rio Lindo Academy, a 7th Day Adventist boarding school. History is here: [

The Healdsburg plant appears to have specialized in redwood patio furniture. There was a sizable redwood furniture operation with several plants and it was bought by Little Lake Industries of Willits in 1987, along with plants in Arcata, Fortuna, and Watsonville. Little Lake Industries had a plant in Willits seen here

And it appears that the Little Lake Industries plant in Willits was next to the NWP yard and possibly an NWP office building: [
