Mook, brings up a good point about FIG wanting to shut down more than the Cooas bay line. If you look at RA as a whole, they want to shut down California Northern to Mare Island and downtown Vallejo; CORP to Coos Bay and over the Siskiyous; and now San Joaquin line near Tulare. This a pattern.

Where else is FIG trying to shutdown lines of RA? We need to send letters to STB that this practice is throughout the company after the takeover by FIG, instead of dealing with this piecemeal.

Also, Can anyone address why UPRR did not run over the Siskiyous when the line went out southeast of Eugene? Despite ahving to pay CORP, the delays mentioned were signifcant having to route around.
