According to the map on page 271 of the new Volume 3 of Myrick's "Railroads of Nevada and Eastern California", Red River Lumber / Fruit Growers Supply had a branch off the WP at Poison Lake which headed sort of southwest for about 6 miles or so. Is that about right?
