Red River/Fruit Growers

The railroad line that took off from Poison Lake that went out along Highway 44 for a few miles is indeed an old Red River/Fruit Growers Supply Company logging railroad. If history had been written just slightly differently this would have been the start of the railroad into Burney, but it was not and the McCloud River came to town instead.
