Why does it take two to drive a DMU? (Sheer poetry!) Hate to bring this up again but it only takes one in most of the rest of the world. Its not like SMART is the busiest railway in the world, no busy junctions or complicated signalling. Fully fenced in and grade protected, what is a second man there for? Man can get by between Santa Rosa and San Rafael with out a pee break, or should be able to. These arguments are similar to those when steamers went and firemen were left with nothing to do.
